How MICROSOFT changed my life
Hi there , my name is Harish. I am an ordinary engineering student from Electronics And Communication, Aditya engineering college the first Microsoft Ed vantage Platinum college. I am gonna tell my story about how Microsoft enhanced my days. My every day activities are getting up, going to college and listening to the boring lectures. Some times i got confused why and what's the purpose of sitting there in the class. where can i use these concepts. I worried about my career. How can i useful to the industry as i have nothing in my head. In that hard situations i came across Microsoft Ed-vantage programs at a fee of 6000 rs.This is the first event of Microsoft in my life.As i am an electronics students firstly i didn't bother much about it neglecting it in a false notion how could it was useful to my career as it belongs to software side. You see i am from a middle class family and without any economic background. The mindset of a middle class person is like "paying 6000 rs! it was not a small amount that too we were paying it for a course which was not related by stream" . Another day when i was in my class another circular stating "Microsoft was conducting App developing classes and it would be a great opportunity if you were not willing to step in surely you were loosing a million dollar chance". That night his words are wandering in my head and my soul was screaming like"Why don't take place in that campaign you should give it a chance". After a long discussion on the next day i went to the office and registered my name for the program. They said classes were from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. I was shocked i had to be here all the day then how could i manage my regular classes? Another vigorous discussion between me and my inner soul. I was arguing that we are doing a great risk by leaving classes a side but this time also conquest gone to other side.
Its My Story
That was the first day of my training classes.For the first day itself i had a bitter experience. The reason was i didn't have any knowledge about programming languages. Even though i had C Language in my first year i was unable to master it and i just passed that subject. But things change. A twist in the story on second day bumping off my fear of programming they started from basics. They explained how enjoyable the programming is. On the third day they started basics and introduction about C#(c sharp) an object oriented language. its structure seems like a web of an expert spider so confusing and horrifying." It is impossible to remember that structure even we cannot type it by seeing in a book." it was my ultimate judgement after seeing the example program. After several hours i came to know how foolish and flurry i was. We had nothing to do with the entire code and they Integrated Environment takes care of it and you should deal with the logical section only. Those words gave my breath back. They started explaining developing apps. Day by day they were filling me up. Giving examples and exercises for each and every concept. Finally awaiting day came when i complete my app and executed it and it just rocked. I had a new professional skill, a bounty in my hand.

By this way Microsoft has a created a great platform for students. Giving away development kits, Soft wares, technical support for free of cost, they are providing a chance for students to improve their professional life and with this Student Associate Program a chance to acquire leader ship qualities, organisational skills and effective communication skills. Microsoft is creating a vibrant global society. Any other I.T industry is not conducting these kind of activities. Coming to windows store it was a great Canaan for developers. It can make you a millionaire regardless of your background. Another great thing is that a developer account is needed to with a registration fee of around 1500 rs to land their app into the store. But students who are registered them as developers can get the account for free. Microsoft enriched the world of business, education with their graphically user friendly dynamic applications. Office 360 is a suit with bunch of tools that changed the way we deal with documentations.
